Hilary Geoghegan Manager ITEC CIBTAC CIDESCO

Hilary has been working in Purejoy since 2003. She qualified in 1998 from Coen-Cantrell college of Beauty. Originally from Galway Hilary boarded the cruise ships for a couple of years before returning home. Hilary works part time now as she has 3 children at home and she enjoys coming to work on Thursday, Friday and every 2nd Saturday. She has worked with Dermalogica skin care for 14 years and loves it as much now as then. Hilary has a really passion and flair for all hair removal therapies i.e. Electrolysis, Laser and specialized Waxing.

Faye Morris Head Therapist ITEC CIBTAC

Faye a native from Donegal qualified in 2011 from Galway Technical Institute after completing a two year beauty specialist course and was also awarded with ITEC and CIBTAC international diplomas.  Faye won a place to travel to Tenerife and work in a 5 star spa. She loves all aspects of the beauty industry especially skincare, her favourite skincare brands include Dermalogica and Image as they have greatly improved her own skin.  Faye is on her way to becoming a Dermalogica expert after completing a number of courses.  She is passionate about her job and her favourite treatments include facials, Billion Dollar Brows and laser hair removal.


Joy opened Purejoy Advanced Skincare in 2000, Her passion for the beauty industry has moved her towards result driven Skincare, and treatments.  Every treatment, product and service has been hand picked by her.  Her philosophy is 'We aim to offer first class treatments to the highest possible standards at affordable prices.  All our treatments and products have been thoroughly tried and tested by ourselves to ensure they give you the best possible result and we can advice and care for all your laser, skin and beauty needs.'

How it all began

Qualified from Georgina's Beauty School in 1995 with credits.  Joy has enjoy a varied career in the beauty industry. Firstly, after completing her 600 hours in a local Galway salon she join the Steiner team and enjoyed the challenge of life aboard a cruise line. Travelling between the Caribbean and the Mediterranean. Working with a large team of 22 made up of hair dressers, beauty therapist and fitness instrusters.

After Joy's contract ended she went to worked for Matis Paris their 'flag ship' salon in Sydney, staying four years and promoted within the company as office manager. Joy's was reasonable for  Dealing with Salon owners and beauty editors helping to  launching new products to the beauty market.

Joy returned to Galway her home town and Purejoy beauty was opened in June 2000. Later re named Purejoy Laser & Advanced Skincare.
